St. Patrick’s Day

Yesterday afternoon the entire cityscape of Seattle seemed to be taking on a greenish hue in anticipation of St. Patrick’s Day.

I decided to pick up green as a theme of my afternoon walk, which brought me along the waterfront, the ferry terminals and to the shipyards where they repair boats.

 

Along the way there were glimpse of green everywhere.

I chose this one, had a hard time choosing, though……

    Top o’ the mornin’ to yeh, Friderike. I take it you are in Seattle, or at least were yesterday, and those are swell pix of a city I love. Many thanks. I will now however play a CD I bought when I was in Ireland nine years ago–political songs which I find particularly inspiring these days.
